Premier League outfits Chelsea send official offer to Lazio for Mario Gila.
According to a report by Il Messaggero, Chelsea have made their first offer to Lazio for defender Mario Gila. The Blues have offered a transfer fee of โฌ35 million and Lazio have countered it with an asking price of โฌ50 million.
The Biancocelestiโs revised price comes because they are obliged to pay Real Madrid a 50% resale value. Lazio want a significant amount in their coffers during the transfer window and they aim to have an advantage through the sale of Gila.
Despite these developments, the decision on the 24-year-old Spaniardโs future will be taken following the advice of Lazioโs new coach since Marco Baroni is close to leaving the club.ย
Gila is expected to be the first sacrifice on the market for the Italian capital-based club and this comes amidst the possibility of Maurizio Sarri being reappointed as the head coach.ย
