Fiorentina’s Moise Kean leaves Italy camp due to injury

Fiorentina forward Moise Kean has left the Italy National Team training camp this morning.

According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina’s Moise Kean departed Italy’s international break retreat this morning after scans produced a minor muscle strain in his right thigh.

The striker sustained a physical problem in training yesterday and medical examinations later deemed him unfit for the Azzurri’s upcoming clashes against Norway and Moldova.

Kean is set to return to The Viola’s camp to begin therapy and the subsequent recovery processes. The actual length of his injury will be provided soon by the club following extensive tests. At the moment, it is not possible to ascertain when he will return to the pitch.

Luciano Spalletti called Kean to the national team for the World Cup qualifiers after an impressive show in the Serie A this past season. However, this injury puts a stop to the player’s involvement with the Italian colours.
