Genoa manager Patrick Vieira has been very impressive this season and thus it is not surprising that he has attracted attention from other clubs in Serie A. The Frenchman guided the club to mid table coming in midway through the season after the club had experienced a poor start to the season. He has averaged 1.3 points a game at the club.
Italy is currently experiencing a massive merry-go-round of managers. Simone Inzaghi might leave Inter, Milan have appointed Massimiliano Allegri, Gian Piero Gasperini is leaving Atalanta to go to Roma. This has left multiple vacancies for managers and the former Arsenal legend is on multiple shortlists, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Atalanta according to reports in Italy are one of these teams. The main candidate for the job is Stefano Pioli right now. They have also made contact with Thiago Motta and Igor Tudor. Fiorentina have already lost manager Raffaele Palladino and have Vieira to the shortlist too. They too have Pioli on the list in addition of ex Ajax man Francesco Farioli.
