Serie A side Inter faced the possibility of losing Hakan Calhanoglu this summer but the midfielder is now nearing a stay.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that the Turk is expected to arrive at Interโs training ground on Tuesday and he will be in the training camp for four days before the team leaves for pre-season games in the USA.
Calhanoglu has the desire to bounce back from what happened during the Club World Cup and that attitude is leading to him staying at Inter.ย
He was interested in a move to Galatasaray but no offers arrived. It seems as if Victor Osimhen is Galaโs priority and their ambition of signing Calhanoglu was only a patriotic way of appeasing their fans and they havenโt gone towards making a formal approach.
Everything points to the fact that the midfielder will stay at Inter and this will become clearer in the next few days.
