The defender has established himself as one of the best in the world and according to him, this was one of the top 5 nights he has experienced in an Inter jersey. He also spoke about how everyone had Bayern as favourites for the tie and that beating the Bavarians shows how good Inter are as a team.
Bastoni also provided a really refreshing perspective about qualifying to the semi-final. He said that a footballerโs career is not infinite and that the fact they had reached that far was an opportunity to be seized and that the loss in the Champions League final in Istanbul in 2023 will give them an extra push.
