Serie A giants Milan have been linked with a move for Manchester Cityโs Manuel Akanji in recent days but after facing rejection, Inter are now trying to land the defender.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that in these frenetic hours of the final transfer window, Inter, Marseille, and City are discussing this potential double deal, which also involves Benjamin Pavardโs potential switch to the French club as this will free up space for the Swiss to join Inter.
The Milan-Akanji deal fell through because the defender refused the Rossoneriโs offer. He wanted a team playing in the Champions League and Inter would certainly be a good fit for him.
