Inter preparing move for Bolognaโ€™s Santiago Castro

Serie A giants Inter want to sign another striker in the summer and are now preparing a move for Bolognaโ€™s Santiago Castro.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported today that there is a growing relationship between Castro and Lautaro Martinez and the Bologna talent has sought help from his compatriot about goalscoring and life in Italy. They have constantly exchanged text messages as well.

Now, Castro is a tempting target for Inter and the Nerazzurri are considering making an attempt after the club World Cup. The Argentine is the favourite target for the strikerโ€™s role, ahead of Udineseโ€™s Lorenzo Lucca. The player would be very interested in a move and unite with Martinez.

As of now, Bologna want a fee of โ‚ฌ40 million to sell Castro and Inter value the 20-year-old at โ‚ฌ30 million. Having said that, Inter can offer players in the deal, with Giovanni Fabbianโ€™s future hanging in the balance. Inter have a buyback option but they can renegotiate a deal to help Bologna in removing that clause.
