Serie A giants are closing in on the appointment of Cristian Chivu and they will soon have a key meeting.
After being rejected by Como in their efforts to land Cesc Fabregas, the Nerazzurri decided to fully focus on the appointment of Chivu, who has done a good job in a stint at Parma.
Gianluca di Marzio has stated that Inter are going full steam ahead in the move for the Romanian and Parma have given their manager the permission to negotiate with the Nerazzurri and seek the transfer.
The 44-year-old is the main candidate for the role and later in the evening, Inter chief executive Piero Ausilio will speak to Chivu about the role and they will look to define the final details of the switch to the Giuseppe Meazza. Ausilio arrived at the clubโs headquarters in the afternoon in anticipation of the move.
