Is a return to Serie A on the cards for Ciro Immobile?

Over the last decade, Ciro Immobile has undoubtedly been one of Serie Aโ€™s most dominant players. In 353 games in the competition, he had a whopping 252 goal contributions before moving to Besiktas in Turkey. He won the European Golden Boot once and the Serie A Golden Boot 4 times. In Turkey too he has done well in his first season averaging higher than a goal contribution every other game.

But it does seem like he could be headed back to his homeland this transfer window. As per calciomercato.com, Immobile looks likely to start next season playing for either Fiorentina or Milan. La Viola are currently also considering another experienced striker in the form of Edin Dzeko who is leaving Fenerbache on a free. However Bologna want him too so itโ€™s a tussle between the two.

Milan seem to be after Immobile too, and have reportedly met his agent recently. For them, the experienced striker could be good squad depth as well as a mentor to someone young and talented like Francesco Camarda.
