Serie A giants Juventus have been linked with a host of midfielders and they are now pursuing a move for Sportingโs Morten Hjulmand.
Giovanni Albanese has reported that Alberto Costaโs move to Sporting is gaining traction. Even though the Bianconeri were not opening up to a sale earlier, they are interested in the sale because of potential capital gains that Sporting can hand to them.
A breakthrough in the move can come as early as next week and discussions are advanced. In the meantime, Juve have made initial inquiries for Hjulmand and his profile has become important in the shortlist in the last 48 hours.
The midfielder is valued at โฌ50 million right now but Sporting are considering a sale. Discussions are ongoing with the Daneโs entourage and it is a sign that the player is interested in a move to Turin. These would be two separate deals but good relations between the clubs can aid in a transfer.
