Serie A side Parma have seen youngster Giovanni Leoni get linked to Inter but Liverpool are now making progress to sign the defender.
The English media had spoken of the Redsโ liking for Leoni but the Italian press has been following the tracks for a while.
Now, Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Liverpool have made contact for the player and it has yielded a positive outcome.
Parma want โฌ30 million plus bonuses to sell the teenager and in the next few hours, Liverpool can accelerate a move and a deal can reach a positive conclusion.
