Serie A side Juventus dealt with the possibility of losing Andrea Cambiaso in the January transfer window and there is now rising interest from not just Manchester City, but also from Liverpool.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, via IlBianconero, have reported today that the finances from Thiago Mottaโs sacking could force Juve into throwing the doors open for the sale of Cambiaso.
The Italianโs exit will fetch them a hefty sum and it will help them make up for Mottaโs compensation fee. Manchester City have already agreed personal terms with the full-back and they are still very much interested in signing him in the summer transfer window.
At the same time, Liverpool are also in the chase and Bayern Munich made contact for him in January. Juveโs openness to a sale means that they would want more clubs โ not just Liverpool, to join the race as it will help attract a higher fee in the summer.ย
It remains to be seen what Juveโs asking price from Liverpool or City could be, but Pep Guardiolaโs side were ready to offer โฌ65 million in January.
