Luciano Spallettiโ€™s impact on Juventus remains non existent; upcoming fixtures already crucial for Italian tactician

Following the appointment of former Napoli and Azzurri coach Luciano Spalletti at the helm of Juventus, many aspired that the Italian tactician would be the right candidate to ignite a spark within the Turin giantsโ€™ camp, however, the Bianconeri continue to find themselves within a deep crisis.ย

La Gazzetta dello Sport indicates that despite having hired three different coaches, Thiago Motta, Igor Tudor, and Spalletti respectively within the span of a year, similar problems remain apparent within the club, and Spallettiโ€™s impact on the squad is far from evident.

It remains crystal clear that Juventus lack quality in midfield and that the Bianconeri squad is screaming for a โ€œmedianoโ€ that would flourish under Spallettiโ€™s system. However, given the financial circumstances of the club, it remains highly unlikely that the Bianconeri would be able to make a significant acquisition.ย

Albeit, Spalletti has yet to unlock the potential of his players and maximize the efficiency of his resources available as the Old Lady sits in 7th with 23 points, having only attained 8 points out of 15 available within their last 5 matches.

A total crisis is apparent under Spalletti as his philosophy that involves short passes and quick movements finds Kephren Thuram looking out of place, the use of Kenan Yildiz and Francisco Concecaio leading a two-man strike force was a total flop as the two were not able to enter Napoliโ€™s box for an entire half, Jonathan David and Lois Openda continue to experience dark moments since beginning life with the Bianconeri, and Edson Zerghova remains incapable of playing an entire game due to a lack of match fitness.ย

With Juventus set to face Pafos in the Champions League, followed by Bologna and Roma in the Serie A, the upcoming run of fixtures will be crucial for Spalletti to avoid getting sacked prior to the end of the season when his contract runs out.
