Serie A giants Milan have been pursuing a move for Genoaโs Koni de Winter over the weekend and they can now seal a move today.
Marco Conterio has reported that final details of the transfer are now being finalised. Milan and Genoa have been in constant touch to find the agreement and they will stay in contact for the rest of the day to iron out the final bits and pieces of the move.
De Winterโs first day in Milan can be on Wednesday and everything suggests that the move can be completed by later today.
Milan are expected to pay a fee of โฌ20 million plus bonuses to Genoa for the Belgian, as the Rossoneri use the money earned from Malick Thiawโs sale immediately.
De Winter plied his trade under Max Allegri during his time at Juventus and will bring a lot of versatility to the plate, having impressed at Genoa.
