Milan in talks with Max Allegri in attempt to find quick agreement

Serie A giants Milan have missed out on Vincenzo Italiano and are now trying to find an agreement to land Max Allegri as manager.

Calciomercatoโ€™s Daniele Longo has reported that Italiano is set to sign a new deal with the Rossoblu and after Milan attempted to seek a move for Thiago Motta, theyโ€™ve moved towards Allegri.

They have now intensified contacts for the ex-Juventus manager and aim to quickly find an agreement for him. They are looking to initially reach a draft agreement and beat competition from Napoli, who are keen on signing the Italian and have already put a two-year deal on the table.

Friday is expected to be a key day in the saga as Allegri is keen on making sure that he decides his future this week and it doesnโ€™t drag on to next week. He is waiting for a signal from Napoli and if doesnโ€™t arrive, he will agree to join Milan.
