However, this has come after an outburst following the disappointing 2-0 defeat in Bologna and has subsequently caused president Aurelio De Laurentiis to resort to a lengthy social media post to quell rumours of the coachโs resignation.
In short, Conte will return to Castel Volturno at the beginning of next week, when all the international players will begin to return one by one. In the meantime, heโs enjoying some family time in Turin. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the clubโs position these days has been clear: everyoneโs behind Conte.
Now itโs up to the coach and the players to rediscover the chemistry and fight thatโs been missing this early in the season. The next round of matches will be tough for Conte and Napoli.
