Goal Italia report that Sandro Tonali’s agent, Giuseppe Riso, is currently in Milan. His presence in the city has attracted attention and even though a meeting was held between the two, the reasoning is still unknown.
The two were spotted together in the city today, with the Newcastle United player having flown into Italy for the international break. In a speculative way, the report does cast doubts about his Magpies’ future but the intention behind the meeting is not clear.
The report states Juventus are understood to be following Tonali’s situation from a distance, but there have been no contacts or negotiations regarding a potential move. An initial approach was made for the Newcastle United star last summer but a move never materialised, but it can be under discussion in the next few months.
Tonali, meanwhile, has been called up by Rino Gattuso for Italy’s upcoming fixtures and is expected to feature in both games.
