Serie A giants Juventus had considered the possibility of selling Douglas Luiz in the winter transfer window. While a move didnโt go through despite interest from England, Nottingham Forest are still interested in the Brazilian.
TuttoJuveโs Mirko di Natale has reported that while Manchester United were also keeping tabs on the midfielder in January, it is only Nottingham Forest who seem to have carried forward their interest.
The person backing the clubโs move for the ex-Aston Villa player is Edu, who will soon take charge of sporting affairs at the Tricky Trees and he also tried to sign the Brazil international during his stint at Arsenal but it was Juve who sealed the deal for the midfielder.
Nottingham Forestโs pressure for Douglas Luiz is continuing therefore. In January, Juve wanted between โฌ45 million and โฌ50 million but in the summer, their price tag can reduce and that can help English clubs.
