Bolognaโs star forward Riccardo Orsolini has reportedly rejected a big money approach from Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah. It is worth noting that the same club signed last seasonโs Serie A top scorer Mateo Retegui for a massive sum in the summer.
As per Tuttosport (via calciomercato.com), the offer was of a three year contract and a salary worth double of what Orsolini currently earns at Bologna. However, the winger said no and is set to continue at the club who are ready to offer him a new contract.
This new deal would run until 2029, with the possibility of extending it for an additional season, and would include a salary raise that could see him earn up to โฌ3 million net per year. Orsolini has been in great form this season, having netted 5 in 7 Serie A games. His form means that big clubs in Italy and across Europe will be paying attention too.
