Serie A giants Inter picked up a 2-0 win over Torino and they went level on points with rivals Napoli in the title race.
Napoli are currently taking on Genoa in their own game and a win in that game will put them back up to 1st in the table. Inter got vital three points earlier in the day, beating Torino through goals from Kristjan Asllani and Nicola Zalewski, with the Poland international curling one into the corner in the first half.
The Scudetto race is getting tighter and tighter with every few minutes and Simone Inzaghi was asked about his belief in the possibility of Inter winning the title.
He said, via TMW: โI believe it. We have to do our best and see what happens, even if it doesnโt depend on us. After all the rain with Barcelona, โโwe took a lot of it tonight and we joked. Toro hadnโt lost in nine home games.โ
Inter take on Lazio in their next Serie A game and considering Lazioโs own ambitions, it will be a massive game for both the sides involved.ย
After that, Inzaghiโs side take on Como, who themselves are pushing to finish inside the top ten in the table and this will be followed by the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
