Serie A side Como have been keen on holding on to Nico Paz but Tottenham have now made a new attempt for the attacking midfielder.
Spurs have previously had an offer rejected for the Argentine but had offered only โฌ40 million in their bid.
Sky Italia report that a new attempt has been made, with Tottenham offering a fee of โฌ50 million to sign the 20-year-old.
Como have put forward a firm resistance have rejected this bid too, with Paz currently valued at a fee of โฌ70 million by Cesc Fabregasโ side.
The player is also yet to indicate a desire to leave Como and as a result, personal terms are yet to be agreed with Tottenham.ย
The Italian side begin their Serie A campaign later today against Lazio and Paz is expected to feature in that clash, having played a key role in their 2024/25 league season when Como finished tenth in the table.
