Serie A witness a true spectacle today as Bologna picked up a 1-0 win over Inter, with Riccardo Orsolini grabbing the strike through a terrific overhead kick.
The Italian, who has been largely ignored by Italy boss Luciano Spalletti, has been literally knocking on the doors for a while and he cemented his status as a major star with the goal, even if he has done that multiple times already this season.
That beside, the win helped Bologna come up to fourth in the table at a time when Atalanta play Milan next and it could be a vital week in the race for the top-four.ย
Most importantly though, it is the title race which gets impacted. Interโs loss means that Napoli are level at the top with the Nerazzurri. If things stay this way, the title can be decided by a play-off final.ย
As things stand, Napoli have an easier set of fixtures, considering Interโs tight schedule and difficult games. They have tiredness to deal with and competing on all fronts will become a stiff task.
Ominously, Inter have seen a title slip away at Bologna before and they will be well aware of that.
