Argentinaโ€™s Dibu Martinez ready to force Aston Villa transfer, Juventus waiting

Serie A side Juventus havenโ€™t given up hope of signing Aston Villaโ€™s Dibu Martinez and could now have some good news on that front.

La Gazzetta dello Sport โ€“ via CM, report that the player is keen on leaving the Birmingham club.

While Aston Villaโ€™s public stance is that he isnโ€™t for sale, this has left the goalkeeper a bit annoyed. He has made it clear through his agents that he is willing to fight for a move to Juve and for an exit from Aston Villa.

He has decided to leave Villa Park, with the Villansโ€™ demand currently at โ‚ฌ12 million.

Juve continue to wait cautiously but havenโ€™t given up on aย  move for Guglielmo Vicario either. They have been in contact with his entourage, as things around Martinez continue to evolve and change.

Player push needed

The only thing that can work in Juveโ€™s favour is Martinez actively pushing for a move, as Aston Villa are under no pressure to sell. The playerโ€™s stance can reduce the valuation and make it easier for Juve to sign the Argentine, who will play against England at the World Cup semi-final today.
