Serie A side Bologna didnโt beat Aston Villa last week but they managed to make a mark. This was especially true for Jonathan Rowe, who is now being pursued by Premier League sides.
The Englishman scored a spectacular goal in the second goal against the Villans, curling one from the edge of the box. He also impressed against Roma in the previous round and then spoke about his wishes to return to England some time in the future.
Now, Gazzetta dello Sport report that scouts from three English clubs scouted Rowe in the game. They also kept a close eye on Bologna striker Santiago Castro but it is clear that Premier League sides are certainly keeping a close eye on the ex-Norwich winger.
It is believed that the Rossobblu had put in quite a bit of effort to land Rower from Marseille. Now, he is valued at over โฌ45 million, which could prove to be similar to how much Nottingham Forest paid for Dan Ndoye.
As things stand, Vincenzo Italiano have no intention of letting Rowe go and are working on a potential renewal too. But everything likely hinges on whether clubs come calling for him and meet the high valuation at the end of the campaign.
