Serie A side Juventus are likely to miss out on Bournemouthโs Marcos Senesi and have now identified Bolognaโs Jhon Lucumi as a possible alternative.
It has appeared across the week that the Argentine will end up staying in England, with Tottenham Hotspur emerging as a likely candidate.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Lucumi will be under special observation when Juve and Bologna play each other on Sunday. He is seen as an alternative to Senesi, with the Colombian also attracting interest from England.
It is believed Lucumi was close to joining Sunderland last summer but eventually opted to stay. Clubs from the Premier League remain interested but the Bianconeri are ready to offer him a leading role in the project under Luciano Spalletti from next season onwards.
Lucumiโs current deal at Bologna runs out in 2027, which makes 2026 a viable time to sign him.
