Jonathan Davidโs first season in Serie A with Juventus didnโt quite go as per plan. He did make a mark at the World Cup with Canada but it seems like this may not be enough for him to stay in Turin.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the striker is keen on staying at the Bianconeri and become a key player for them. His relationship with Luciano Spalletti witnessed ups and downs in the previous campaign and this led to the Italian having serious doubts about his suitability to his setup.
Spalletti is of the firm belief that the Canada doesnโt have the meanness to make a mark and is often too soft in his approach. He has made that view public and still holds that opinion, which is making his exit from Juve likely this summer.
He is seeking a physical profile and that is driving a move for Randal Kolo Muani forward, especially now that Dusan Vlahovic has departed.ย
The only problem for Juve is his hefty salary and how it can hold back his exit. They are hoping suitors step forward and make the right move, as it could help all parties involved.

Juve may have to accept loan
With Jeff Ekhator signed and another striker likely to be roped in, neither Lois Openda nor David may have a shot at staying at Juve.
Letting the Canadian leave will help the Old Lady save up finances and that is why they should also accept a loan exit. They will earn a loan fee and can use the saved wages on new signings.
