Federico Chiesa’s agent to discuss Liverpool exit around 20th January

The countdown for Federico Chiesa’s potential return to Turin has officially begun, with a decisive meeting scheduled for later this month. According to Corriere dello Sport (via TuttoJuve), the winger’s agent, Fali Ramadani, is expected to arrive in Italy around January 20th to hold direct talks regarding his client’s future and a move back to Juventus.

Notably, the lines of communication between Liverpool and the Bianconeri remain wide open, with the report describing contacts between the two clubs as constant. The Italian international is increasingly keen on the move, but a significant hurdle remains in the structure of the deal. While Juventus are exploring a formula that would facilitate a mid-season arrival, the Premier League side is currently maintaining a firm stance, demanding a permanent transfer to part with the 28-year-old.

Indeed, the upcoming arrival of Ramadani in Italy is seen as the catalyst needed to break the deadlock. The agent intends to bridge the gap between Liverpool’s financial demands and Juventus’ current budget constraints. For Chiesa, the priority remains a return to the Allianz Stadium, where he believes he can reclaim a starring role under the club’s new technical project.

Consequently, the final ten days of the month will be critical for the success of the operation. Juventus are hopeful that as the deadline approaches, Liverpool may soften their stance and consider a loan with an obligation to buy, allowing the “Italian core” of the squad to be significantly bolstered before the window slams shut.
