Fikayo Tomori set for Milan exit, Ruben Amorim seeking different profile

Serie A side Milan are now expected to part ways with Fikayo Tomori, with the player having been excluded from the side against Chelsea earlier today.

Daniele Longo has reported that this was based on a decision by Ruben Amorim, who also kept Youssouf Fofana out of the squad. Like the Frenchman, the Englishman is also considered to be outside the Rossoneri project.

Amorim currently seeks a centre-back who is very good on the ball and feels Tomori doesn’t fit the need. His exit will free up the finds to find the right player.

Milan value Tomori at around €15 million. Soon, discussions will be held with his agent to make it clear that the player needs to find a new destination, with Coventry City and Newcastle United having made initial enquiries without delving into too many details.

Jhon Lucumi could be a replacement for Tomori, even if the Colombian is currently being pursued by Juventus.
