An intriguing move looks to draw to a close as Alexsandro Amorim arrives in Genoa for his medical. The 20-year-old Brazilian midfielder moves from Alverca for โฌ8 million plus โฌ2 million in bonuses, which breaks the record as the Portuguese clubโs most lucrative transfer.
The Fortaleza-born Amorim played 21 times for the newly-promoted Alverca in the Primeira Liga this season, registering two goals from the centre of the park and turning heads with consummate performances beyond his years.
This transfer emerges as a promising one for all parties. The young, raw central midfield talent will look to improve under manager and midfield icon Daniele De Rossi, as well as a squad that features Ruslan Malinovskyi and Morten Frendrup.
