Serie A side Juventus have moved quickly to potentially replace the outgoing Dusan Vlahovic, making rapid progress in a move for Jeff Ekhator.
Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that the youngster will join the Old Lady on a permanent basis. The move also sees Next Gen talent David Puczka head to the Rossoblu on a permanent deal, with the final details already sorted out.
Late in the evening, the 19-year-old flew to Turin for his medical as Bianconeri doctors awaited his arrival.
TuttoJuve add further details, noting that the first half of the medical has already been sorted out. The rest of the tests will be conducted tomorrow and this will allow the other formalities to be completed.
Juve will announce the deal in the next few hours, even if the teenager will formally sign his deal tomorrow.

New project, new strategy
This feels like a fresh attempt from Juve to revamp their squad, reduce the average age and show that the new project trusts young players quite a bit. The last few years have been synonymous with them selling talents but the move for Ekhator signals a trust in the opposite, especially as another young star in Tarik Muharemovic is also being targetted.
