Serie A side Milan are facing the possibility of losing Mike Maignan but are prepared to find the right players in the summer.

Daniele Longo has now reported that Maignanโs agent is exploring the market for the best possible solution. This has already alerted Milan, who have a shortlist of possible replacements.
Freiburgโs Noah Atubola has impressed the clubโs scouts quite a bit and Cagliariโs Elia Caprile has also made a positive impression. The Germanโs current deal runs out in 2027 and the Bundesliga side have already replaced him, which is another sign that Milan could execute a move.
It is still in evaluation phase but the situation can grow in the next few weeks.

Wise decision by Milan
This is quite wise from Milan, especially as replacing a player of Maignanโs abilities wonโt be easy. They would ideally want a younger option who proved himself at the highest level, which is what the France international himself had done at Lille.
Both Atubolu and Caprile fit the bill, with the Italian specifically having made a mark in Serie A. He has also grown as a leader and definitely wonโt mind a big move.
