Inter CEO Beppe Marotta reveals Lautaro Martinez not for sale amidst Barcelona links

Serie A side Inter have seen their striker Lautaro Martinez get linked with a late move to Barcelona in the last few days.

Get Italian Football News have looked at the Nerazzurri’s stance about these rumours from Spain. They see the Argentine as someone who will not leave and if Barcelona want him, they would have to shell out a three-figure amount to land him.

Before Inter’s 4-1 win over Monza, Inter CEO Beppa Marotta spoke to DAZN about Martinez’s future.

He made it clear there is no chance the striker leaves this summer.

He said – via FCInterNews: “Lautaro is our captain and represents Inter’s current history. There are no conditions for him to leave Inter, we don’t want to give him up under any circumstances or for any reason. It shouldn’t even be considered.”

Martinez has indeed become a real symbol for Inter in the last few years. Apart from being a reliable forward, he has become a dressing room leader that everyone in the side looks up to.

Besides that, Barcelona’s interest has emerged quite late, making a move even more complicated right now.
