Inter declare Federico Dimarco unsellable amidst Barcelona approach

Serie A side Inter have seen Barcelona attempt moves for two of their stars in Lautaro Martinez and Alessandro Bastoni this summer. Now, the Spanish club have tried to make in-roads over a deal for Federico Dimarco.

La Gazzetta dello Sport provide details, making it clear Barcelona have attempted what has been described as a risky move for the left wing-back.

Barcelona wanted to understand if there was a room to swap Dimarco and Alejandro Balde. Inter have previously been interested in the Catalan sideโ€™s left-back but they have now declared Dimarco unsellable.

In fact, they are attempting to renew the Italianโ€™s contract, with his current deal running out 2027. They expect to tie him down until 2030.

Barcelona, in the meantime, have not made any offers for Dimarco and the same rings true for Martinez and Bastoni, who are both pillars for Inter. Cristian Chivuโ€™s side have no intention of selling them either.

Dimarco, specifically, came through Interโ€™s youth academy and he is seen as someone who is very emblematic of the club.
