Inter are making inquiries about Al-Ittihadโs Moussa Diaby, with the French winger reportedly pushing for a return to Europe.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, while the Nerazzurri have made an initial assessment of the Al Ittihad winger, itโs far from a simple move. The Saudi club are reluctant to part with the player, but the French widemanโs position could force the move to fruition, as heโs pushing for a return to the continent that saw some interesting spells with PSG and Aston Villa.
Interโs management is currently working on a loan deal with an option to buy. Diaby, also formerly of now-Serie B side Crotone, joined Al Ittihad two years ago for โฌ60 million after scoring 10 and assisting nine in 54 games across all competitions for the West Midlands club.
Admittedly, the 26-year-old Frenchman is a surprise name in the right-sided conversation within Chivuโs 3-5-2 formation. With several teams interested in Luis Henrique, and Dumfries injured, the Nerazzurri management is considering giving him the wing in a slightly different role. This deal, however, is not an alternative to the Perisic option.
In one slim link, the 11-time French international already knows Inter. In August 2024, in fact, he scored a brace in a friendly against the Nerazzurri.
