Inter are growing increasingly frustrated with Luis Henrique, as the Brazilian winger continues to struggle following his €25 million move from Marseille last summer.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 24-year-old has been a major disappointment for the Nerazzurri. Henrique arrived at the San Siro with high expectations after a stellar campaign in France under Roberto De Zerbi, where he recorded nine goals and ten assists. However, he has completely failed to replicate that form in Italy.
Despite being handed numerous opportunities by manager Cristian Chivu—starting seven of the last eight league matches due to Denzel Dumfries’ injury—Henrique has remained largely anonymous. Outside of a solitary assist against Como, he has lacked impact, failing to register a single goal and completing just five successful dribbles all season. His recent performance against Arsenal in the Champions League, where he was at fault for a goal, has only added to the scrutiny.
This lack of production has forced Inter to turn their attention back to the transfer market. With Dumfries still sidelined and the current alternatives failing to convince, the club is exploring options for the right wing-back spot. While Verona’s Rafik Belghali is a target for June, a short-term move for a veteran like Ivan Perisic is being considered to provide much-needed reliability on the flanks.
