Italian transfer round-up: Juventus refuse Mateta and David swap, Inter set to sign Croatian starlet

Welcome to this daily round-up of some of Italyโ€™s most intriguing transfer rumours. Here are Fridayโ€™s best stories, courtesy of Italian transfer ace, Gianluca Di Marzio.

Juventus remain interested in Crystal Palace and France striker Jean-Philippe Mateta. However, with the Eaglesโ€™ valuation being around โ‚ฌ30-35 million, and their request that Jonathan David be included in the move, the Bianconeri may not be in for an easy run of negotiations.

Inter have reached an agreement with Hajduk Split for 18-year-old centre-back Branimir Mlacic. The Croatian club accepted the Nerazzurriโ€™s latest offer of โ‚ฌ5 million plus bonuses, and details are set to be finalised with the young defender in the coming hours.

Jackย Harrison has joined Fiorentina on loan from Everton. The player touched down in Florence today, with the option to buy in his deal set at โ‚ฌ7 million. La Viola are also pushing for Sassuoloโ€™s Kristian Thorstvedt, but the Neroverdi have rejected initial talks.ย

Torino are close to signing Benfica full-back Rafa Obrador. Marco Baroni wants to add the Spaniard to his ranks with a potential loan-to-buy move from the Lisbon club. They are yet to receive permission from Real Madrid, who still have the rights to the playerโ€™s contract.

While Genoa move towards the early termination of the seasoned Nicolae Stanciuโ€™s contract, the Rossoblu are close to signing 21-year-old Pescara midfielder Matteo Dagasso. Venezia are also tracking the Azzurri U21 starlet.
