Italian transfer round-up: Juventusโ€™s first Mateta move blocked, Napoli interested in Chelsea winger

Crystal Palace have rejected Juventusโ€™ initial offer for Jean-Philippe Mateta. The Bianconeri had proposed a loan of โ‚ฌ2 million with an obligation to buy for โ‚ฌ28 million, conditional upon qualification for next seasonโ€™s Europa League.

Dutch goalkeeper Justin Bijlow is expected to join Genoa with the expiry of his Feyenoord contract. The 27-year-old will join the Rossoblu for a small compensation fee.

Napoli are reportedly keeping tabs on Chelseaโ€™s Raheem Sterling. The Bluesโ€™ winger hasnโ€™t made any official appearances this season.

Cruzeiro have rejected an initial offer from Como for 22-year-old Kaiki Bruno. It remains unclear whether Cesc Fabregasโ€™s side will decide to push for the Brazilian left-back again or focus on Nuno Tavares.

Fiorentina are interested in Brighton centre-back Diego Coppola. The 22-year-old, formerly of Hellas Verona, has played just nine times in all competitions for the Seagulls since his arrival last summer.
