Juventus & Inter monitor Manchester City situation for Donnarumma move

Manchester Cityโ€™s Gianluigi Donnarumma is rather comfortable at the Etihad but Serie A duo Juventus and Inter are keeping tabs on a possible transfer opportunity.

Calciomercato report that if the Citizensโ€™ situation deteriorates due to the legal trouble surrounding them, the keeper could be one of the first players to move on.

This has led to Inter and Juve keeping a close eye on Manchester City and they had been interested in him even before he left Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent deal.ย

The Nerazzurri arenโ€™t entirely certain about their keeperโ€™s position for the 2027/28 campaign yet, with Ivan Provedel being a back-up to Josep Martinez. Juve themselves have signed Neto, who is a temporary back-up to the injured Kamil Garbara, who is the second choice behind Guglielmo Vicario.

But both teams see Donnarumma as a direct upgrade on what they have, which makes the chance very appealing.ย

The Italian knows he will have to take a big wage cut to return to Italy too, with a move to Saudi Arabia in the future also an option for him.
