Serie A side Roma are now making some progress in a move for Porto talent Rodrigo Mora and they are gaining optimism that a deal could be done.
Get Italian Football News have covered how initial contact was made with his entourage over a deal.
Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that while Roma have offered Porto three different options over a deal, it is the second one which has found most favours with the Portuguese side.
This has seen the Giallorossi put forward โฌ25 million, handing Porto a 50% sell-on clause over his future resale. In 2027, Roma will pay Porto a furtherย โฌ25 million, which would technically go down as a second installment of the move.
Porto appear to be happy with this and both parties are working towards possibly reaching an agreement over a deal.

Roma could finally have a big signing
This could be quite a creatively effective move, especially as Roma wonโt pay a massive amount outright. If they do well in the upcoming campaign, they could find the financial wiggleroom to spend another package for Mora. While it does put pressure on Roma to do well next season, the club have a significant bit of stability under Gian Piero Gasperini now.
