Serie A side Lazioโs season has been full of chaos and Maurizio Sarri has found himself in the centre of it. There is every chance of him leaving in the summer and Manchester City have emerged as a surprise destination.
Alfredo Pedulla, who is very close to Sarri and Lazio, has reported that the Italian will have a meeting with the Roman club at the end of the season to decide his future.
Napoli are a potential candidate to hire him but Manchester City are in the fray too. He is on their shortlist of replacements, if Pep Guardiola departs at the end of the campaign.
When it comes to Napoli, Enzo Maresca has been dismissed as a serious target. Sarri will be a standout candidate if Antonio Conte decides to leave, with the ex-Chelsea managerโs future in Naples also currently uncertain amidst interest from the Italian national team.
No clubs have made direct contact with Sarri yet but that can soon change.
