Serie A side Juventus can soon face the possibility of losing midfielder Khephren Thuram, with Manchester United having come forward for the Frenchman.
The 25-year-old has been one of Juveโs most impressive players since his arrival from Nice. The French side were paid โฌ20m for the move, which has gone down as a bargain in a lot of ways.
Gazzetta dello Sport report that Thuramโs future in Turin can hinge on Juveโs potential Champions League qualification. This will also help in a renewal but a failure will likely lead to a departure.
The Bianconeri would need around โฌ60m to โฌ70m to sell the France international, with Manchester United having made initial enquiries. Liverpool are also interested but it remains to be seen if they have made any approaches so far.
It is believed that if Juve donโt finish inside the top four, one major sacrifice will be needed. Since Thuram arrived for a relatively low fee, his exit would demand them major capital gain to use in the market for incomings.
Manchester United are definitely in the chase, with their qualification for the Champions League likely to be important.
