Mike Maignan will put pen to paper on a new contract with Milan. The French goalkeeper is expected to sign a renewal in the coming hours, taking him through to 2031, or until 2030 with the option for a further year.
The 37-time French international Maignan has been with the Lombardy club since May 2021, making 188 appearances for the Rossoneri since.
In that time, his tenure between the sticks has been a celebrated one, with Milan winning 2021/22โs Scudetto and the Supercoppa Italiana in 2024. Furthermore, personal high-quality performances have seen him named as Serie Aโs Best Goalkeeper in 2021/22, while featuring in the league Team of the Year in both the same year and 2022/23.
Maignan, who has so far kept nine clean sheets in 21 league appearances this term, sees his current deal at the San Siro expire on the 30th of June. His new contract will reportedly give him a salary worth โฌ5m plus โฌ2m in add-ons.
