At the time of writing, Milan find themselves 2-0 down against Atalanta in what could be a huge game in their Serie A season. Roma beat Parma earlier today, going level on points with the Rossoneri for the last Champions League spot.
But this goes beyond results on the pitch. There has been uncertainty about the situations of Max Allegri, sporting director Igli Tare and CEO Giorgio Furlani.
It is the CEO though, who is facing backlash publicly. MilanNews note how there was a day-long protest outside the San Siro today and a fanzine distributed by the Curva Sud launched into Furlani and the running of the club.

Beyond that, it also questioned the signings made by Furlani and the RedBird ownership.

We have seen embarrassing players arrive, the result of transfer window sessions managed by incompetent characters, and just when we hoped this club would learn from the mistakes of the past, choosing competent figures like Igli Tare and Max Allegri, we have witnessed constant interference in the selection of purchases and the management of the team.
โAn ambitious club would have had a duty to try in January, satisfying the requests of the manager and sporting director, but instead, once again, accountant Furlani made his decision based solely on financial interests.โ
A group of fans also held a banner against the CEO just before the game, saying: โFurlani, Get Outโ.
Even during the game, fans inside the San Siro chanted against the controversial Italian, whose future should now be uncertain with every passing day.ย
It would also be fair to suggest that he is simply the puppet of an ownership that doesnโt really have a larger footballing vision. That is holding Milan back constantly with the issue stretching far beyond individuals.
