Serie A side Milan have signed Mario Gila in what was a major defensive coup but they may not stop simply at signing the Spaniard. Bologna’s Jhon Lucumi is also a target.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that with the Rossoneri working on Fikayo Tomori’s sale, another defensive addition is likely to be made. They want a player who meets Ruben Amorim’s demands of playing out from the back and Lucumi fits the bill perfectly.
The player has been put forward to the Rossoneri and he has piqued their interest. The Colombian is not going to sign a new deal with Bologna, where his current contract runs out in 2027. He had a release clause worth €28 million quite recently but has now expired, with Bologna now demanding €25 million.
Milan will now look to move past Juventus, who have made a concrete attempt, with English clubs like Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest also interested.
