But they do acknowledge that his current deal could be easy to match and outprice for English clubs. He earns โฌ1.7 million per season and has a deal which runs out in 2028, with the option for another year.
As a result, initial discussions have been held for a new deal. Milan want to extend his contract by the summer of 2031 and things are going in the right direction.
Milan are optimistic, with the player having rejected an approach from Turkey already. Unless crazy offers arrive, he is expected to stay at the Rossoneri in the long term.
