Milan have set a firm asking price for Ruben Loftus-Cheek as interest from the Premier League begins to intensify during the final days of the January window.
According to Calciomercato, the Rossoneri are demanding a fee of €15 million to part ways with the English midfielder. While Aston Villa have made formal enquiries to explore the feasibility of a deal, no official offer has been placed on the table at Casa Milan yet.
Unai Emery is searching for reinforcements following a long-term injury to Boubacar Kamara, and Loftus-Cheek’s physicality and Premier League experience have made him a primary person of interest for the Birmingham club.
From a financial perspective, Milan are well-positioned to record a capital gain on the 29-year-old. Having joined from Chelsea in 2023 for approximately €21.5 million, his current book value has depreciated to the point where the club only needs to recoup around €8.5 million to avoid a capital loss. Consequently, a sale at the requested €15 million mark would represent a healthy profit for the Italian giants.
While the player is settled in Italy, the lure of more consistent playing time ahead of the 2026 World Cup could play a role in his decision if Villa decide to turn their enquiry into a concrete bid before the deadline. The Italian press has made it clear that the player has an excellent relationship with Max Allegri, who can block a possible transfer.
