Napoli hold contract talks with Scott McTominayโ€™s agent

Napoli have initiated formal negotiations to secure the long-term future of Scott McTominay at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

According to Corriere dello Sport, a key meeting took place in Italy between the clubโ€™s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, and the playerโ€™s agent, Colin Murdoch. The representative flew in specifically to discuss a contract extension that would tie the Scottish midfielder to the Partenopei until June 2030.

The move signals Napoliโ€™s intent to make the former Manchester United man a cornerstone of their project for years to come. Since arriving in Serie A, McTominay has established himself as a vital presence in the midfield, earning the trust of the management and the fans alike.

While the current focus remains on the pitch, the club is working quickly behind the scenes to finalize the agreement and ward off potential interest from elsewhere.

The ex-Red Devils is currently injured but that hasnโ€™t stopped Antonio Conteโ€™s side from taking key steps over a new deal.
