Serie A side Juventus are now pursuing a move for Newcastle Unitedโs Nick Woltemade but it appears as though the move comes with some complications.
The German came off the bench to make an impact against Tottenham for Newcastle United. He assisted Yoanne Wissaโs goal, helping the Magpies to a memorable 2-0 win.
While the possibility of his exit is rising, things arenโt done yet.
Orazio Accomando reports that there is an agreement in principle between Juventus and Newcastle United for Woltemade. The clubs have agreed a dry loan and the Magpies opening to a move such as this encouraged the Old Lady to execute the deal.
But so far, Woltemade hasnโt given a green light to the move. This leaves Juve with work to do, with the Joshua Zirkzee option not presenting itself as a favourable opportunity, with Manchester United likely demanding more guarantees over a transfer.
The German attackerโs stance over his future remains to be ascertained. Newcastle United appear set to sign Matias Fernandez-Pardo, who can replace Woltemade directly and instantly. This can push the ex-Stuttgart player down the pecking order and force him into considering an exit.
