Serie A champions Inter have been desperate to move on from Davide Frattesi for weeks and months now. Possible moves for the midfielder fell through multiple times but it looks like Lazio would be his next destination.
The Italian fell out of favour last season under Cristian Chivu, despite having been given promises about an important role in the project.
Many sources now confirm that he is set to join Lazio.
Alfredo Pedulla notes that this has been a long time coming. The Roman side made an approach for him in January but a move never materialised. His value fell since then, especially as he was on the fringes of the Inter project.
Gianluca Di Marzio has added the numbers, making it clear that Frattesi will join Lazio on an initial loan deal. Lazio have an option to buy but that will come mandatory to exercise, once their finish inside the Serie Aโs top 12 is confirmed.
Inter will have a 20% resale percentage in the deal and all things suggest things should conclude soon.
