Pisa are intensifying their efforts to secure a sensational return for Napoli striker Lorenzo Lucca, matching the financial terms offered by Nottingham Forest in a bid to hijack the deal.
According to Alfredo Pedullร (relayed by Il Mio Napoli), the Tuscan club has submitted a formal loan offer worth โฌ2 million to Napoli. While this matches the initial โฌ2 million loan fee proposed by Forest, Pisaโs offer does not include an option to buy, whereas the Premier League sideโs approach features a purchase clause that has already seen Napoli reach a broad agreement with the English club.
Despite the existing understanding between Napoli and Forest, Lucca has yet to give the definitive green light for a move to the Premier League. Pisa are now actively working to convince the forward to reject the adventure at Tricky Trees in favor of a return to his former club, where he previously flourished.
